There have been attempts by potential scammers to try and make contacts to talents via PitchYourTalent.com . We have set up a number of ways for talents to alert us of such scams. We will take immediate appropriate actions, once we are alerted of potential scams.

You can play a part to inform us if you come across possible scams. If you see any such contacts via PitchYourTalent.com, please contact us via:-

"Report User" link in the contact emails.
"Report User" link in every profile.
Opportunities that seem too good to be true, usually are potential scams. Be wary of contacts that have the following characteristics.

Use of free email accounts
(Large and well-known companies usually do not use free email addresses)
Company name appears in front part of email address
(eg:- samsunghr@hotmail.com ; virginrecruit@yahoo.com )
Request an up front fee
(e.g. to process your applications)
Personal details
(passport details, credit card details, username/password of your accounts)
Phone numbers that differ from the phone numbers listed in the real company websites.

Always check the legitimacy of any email or employer that seems suspicious before you respond. If you have any concerns, call the company using contact details in the company official website and verify the contact, don't just assume that just because a contact claims to represent a company that it actually does. The contact might use official company website, correct company address or even real name of high ranking staff in the company to trick you. Be wary of potential scams if the contacts show some of the above characteristics.

What should you do if you suspect of potential scam:-

Do not respond to the contact.
(If you really want to, respond using the option of replying anonymously via PitchYourTalent.com and do not disclose your personal details to them)
Click on "Report User" to alert us.
If you have supplied your bank account or credit card details, please contact your financial institiution immediately and ask for their advice.
